OPPO is working on a new A-series smartphone. The OPPO A2 Pro bagged TENAA certification in July. Now, the device has appeared in an official listing on the China Telecom website with model number PJG110. The listing reveals the key specifications as well as the official-looking images of the smartphone. Previously, as per reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the OPPO A2 Pro is tentatively expected to launch on September 15.
The OPPO A2 Pro 5G boasts a striking 6.7-inch OLED display that delivers crisp visuals with a resolution of 2412 × 1080p. What sets it apart is its support for 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, ensuring an immersive and visually pleasing experience for users.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the device’s camera capabilities. On the rear, it features a 64-megapixel primary camera, accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary camera. Selfie lovers are in for a treat with the 8-megapixel front camera, promising high-quality photos and selfies.
Under the hood, the OPPO A2 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. This octa-core CPU architecture, built on a 6nm process, ensures exceptional performance. Paired with an Arm Mali-G68 GPU, it not only delivers a seamless user experience but also excels in energy efficiency.
With a built-in 5000mAh battery, this smartphone is designed to keep up with your active lifestyle. Storage options are versatile, with configurations offering 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and even 12GB + 512GB combinations. According to the listing, the Oppo A2 Pro 5G is available in black, brown and purple color options with a list price of CNY 2,099, which is around $290 or EUR 270, making it quite affordable.
