Through Quiet mode, users will be able to reduce the time spent on social media. This feature of Facebook has been released for iPhone users, while for Android users, it will be released in May.
How will Quiet Mode In this mode, users have to set a schedule. After this mode is activated, notifications from new messages to many other things will be mute in the Facebook app. Through this feature, you will also be able to know how much time you have spent on Facebook in the last few hours and what they are doing. You will not be able to use Facebook much during Quiet mode.
Health Department official Kang Jing Jin said on Facebook, 'Quiet mode mutes push notifications. If you try to use Facebook in Quiet mode, it will remind you that you have set this time not to use Facebook. ' You can also set the Quiet Mode schedule manually and there is an option to set certain hours of the day automatically.
Explain that this feature is completely different from the 'mute push notifications' setting already given in the app. The old feature blocks your push notifications and does not work at a certain time.
The new Quiet Mode is rolling out beginning today. However, it may take some time before it arrives on all iOS devices out in the wild. Facebook says the rollout for iOS should be completed by the end of May, with all Android users getting the new feature by the end of June.
