Only 6 weeks are left for the official launch of the upcoming smartphone of Apple “iPhone 7” , hence more rumors and leaks of the device continue stealing the headlines all over the world. Again a new series of leaks have been scattered around the Chinese social network site Weibo which showcases all the entire 3 models of the much-anticipated device iPhone 7.
As is the case with all leaks sourced on Weibo, it’s impossible to verify the legitimacy of these images. Nevertheless, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard talk of three distinct iPhone 7 variants, so we’re not ruling this leak out entirely, nor are we particularly surprised by it.
The next iPhone devices have been revealed through some leaks that show the existence of three models for this year, although other sources claim that there are only two. Evan Blass, best known for his @evleaks user account, said the iPhone 7 will be announced by Apple in the week of September 12.
Apple could release three new phones this year – with an extra “Pro” model joining its new line-up. The new Pro model appears to include a much wider camera bump, potentially including two sensors. That would suggest that the “Pro” model will include a dual-lens camera system – a new technology that could allow the phones to take far more detailed and deeper pictures than just the one.
The iPhone 7 Pro is the only device in the trio to feature a dual-lens camera, which fits with previous speculation. It’s also clear that the external antenna banding is now less prominent on all of the handsets, which is another long-rumoured design tweak.
Apple seems to be working on a smartphone with a bigger internal memory by dropping the 16GB model and offering a 32GB as its minimum storage capacity. In a report by BGR, they said the iPhone 7 will be available in 32GB, 64GB, and 256GB options. However, Chinese website WeChat said that the tech company will not only kill the 16GB variant, but also the 64GB model and replace them with a 32GB and 128GB respectively.
While there’s no definite report yet on whether Apple will finally upgrade the internal memory of their upcoming flagship, one thing is certain – fans should expect this change to raise the price.
As we don’t know the official announcement, which is scheduled to take place on 12th September, followed by the release to be on September 16. It is also worth remembering that some sources still believe that the iPhone 7 is actually for the year 2017 and in its place, and iPhone 6SE might be released in September.
