In the report of KGI Securities released to its clients on Monday, Sept. 26, Ming-chi Kuo stated that Apple espousing a glass build for iPhone 8 is in the cards already. The intention of manufacturing the iPhone 8 made of glass is because consumers these days have a thing for shiny gadgets, Kuo noted.
However, the fact that employees have named the phone in this way which does not mean that the final name will be that, so we’ll have to take the information with tweezers, especially since these devices in development often work with code names before the final name of the product simply to prevent leaks.
The iPhone 8 may come with an all-glass body feature, with an edge to edge display. This could mean that the mobile may likely drop the home button, while its touch ID is believed to be embedded within the OLED display, along with the front camera. Based on reports, the lack of home button is part of the advancement since 3D touch was introduced. Last year the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook visited the office of Apple in Israel and employing around 800 people, who will develope the chip design of the new iPhone.
iPhone 8 is also rumored to have a faster processor, with A11 processor to power the smartphone, including a wireless charging feature. In addition, the next generation of iPhone may also come in three variants: one as an OLED model with a dual curve display, and two as standard iPhones with a flat display.
If the iPhone 7 Jet Black and glossy finish were a success, the same shade and glossy finish reach the other tones with the iPhone 8, this clear if Apple manages to make the same bright tone for the gold, pink gold and silver.
