Forget Samsung Galaxy Note 7, iPhone 7 Now Goes on Fire Inside Box

We all know very well that the all new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus arrived this month and the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus promise to revolutionize the market for smartphones. It was one of the most talked and hot topics in recent days.


We have seen Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had some serious problem in the factory battery anode and cathode cell contact, resulting in overheating and can cause the battery to catch fire, hence, the phone explodes following it not iPhone 7 catches fire inside the box.


Reddit user Kroopthesnoop says that his coworker's brand new iPhone 7 Plus arrived in a most peculiar state. Kroopthesnoop included a photo of the device, which his coworker claims exploded inside its packaging before he even unwrapped it.


The photo included in the original post shows an iPhone 7 Plus that is most certainly charred beyond any hope of repair. The packaging appears to have suffered some burns and obvious distress as well, though miraculously it didn't continue to burn after the phone lost its cool.

Even though the photograph seems to look like a genuine one, there is no proof of its originality. It is highly possible that the photo is totally fake. The phone in it may have damaged by some other way just to create a hoax. On the other hand, this may be a real picture and may mark the beginning of a major problem for Apple and iPhone users. Still, we would recommend you to take this with a grain of salt.

Whatever be the case, we suggest every iPhone 7 owners to keep an eye on the temperature of their handsets as a precaution is always better than cure. If you notice any unusual heating in your smartphones, which is persistent for a few days, you should immediately report it to your nearest service center.


It will be too early to speculate on this issue as we don’t have much needed genuine information about this so iPhone users needn’t worry too much for now. However, if any user notice any unusual heating in their smartphone they should immediately report it to their nearest service center.
