Finally PlayStation Now Is Available On Your PC

As we all know that earlier Microsoft launched a new concept of games which made possible to play computer games on the Xbox One. Now it is the time for the Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation Sony who created the PS Now, yes, the possibility to play the PlayStation games directly on your PC.

Sony announced that its PlayStation Now streaming game service is now available on Windows PCs, offering subscription-based access to over 400 PlayStation 3 titles.

Sony offers a seven-day trial for PlayStation Now, so even if you wouldn't normally care to stream games, it might be worth trying just to see what it's like on your connection (5 Mbps is the minimum). Longer-term, subscriptions are $19.99 per month, $44.99 for three months, or $99.99 for a full year.

Sony is also planning on adding more and more games every single month. Halloween is also something to look forward to especially with all the news about Sony adding Gothic adventure Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.

All of this is just a few clicks away. Sony has the PS app available for download which will give you access to the new PlayStation Library made available for PC users. Well for now Sony has nothing to announce for Apple users when it comes to the PlayStation Now collection, but PC users can rest assured that Sony is going to bring in the best and offer a great gaming experience.

The PC requirements for Now are fairly basic, seeing how PS3s in a data center are handling all the work, and not your own device. You have to be using at least Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, at least a 3.5GHz Intel Core i3 processor (or equivalent).

While the site says it also requires a PlayStation 4 (DualShock 4) controller, it works with Xbox 360 (And by extension, Xbox One) controllers, too. Oddly enough, however, in our testing we’ve been unable to get a regular PlayStation 3 (DualShock 3) controller to work.

Additionally, some users (like myself) are experiencing issues with the PC version of the service at the moment. The minimum required connection speed is a 5Mbps or greater connection, and I’ve had quality issues on my own 56Mbps connection.

PlayStation Now can be found to download here, and a 7 day free trial is available here.
