Apple’s New Update iOS 10 Launch Date With New Features Everything You Need To Know

Apple CEO Tim Cook has described iOS 10 as the company's "most advanced mobile operating system" to date. Among the new features arriving with the update are a redesigned lock screen, a more intelligent Siri digital assistant with support for more apps, a variety of new effects and animations for Messages, and fresh looks for Maps, News, Photos and Apple Music.

iOS 10 coming packed with lots of new features and it will finally arrive on 13th of September 2016 and despite seeing a leap in the repetition version of the mobile platform iPhone, the truth is that the arrival of iOS 10 will make many feel a sense of brand mobile use. Apple has done lots of improvements in its own way.

Apple promises that iOS 10 operating system will bring fixes that improve device performance and some new features that we can enjoy a lot with the arrival of the public beta version the company released on July 7.

#Siri extends its assistance

In iOS 10, Apple releases its new improved virtual assistant which can now communicate much better with other apps. In this way, you can ask Siri to send a detailed report to any of your contacts on your iPhone through WhatsApp message or to ask Siri to call a Lyft Uber just by using your voice. Even Siri can search photos based on your location or as people portrayed in it, send payments to others or make VoIP calls using just your voice.

#New app Apple Home

The new app Apple Home is built in HomeKit infrastructure to enable control and manage from one place all your smart devices in the home. Also, HomeKit is now integrated into the Control Center to enable your iPhone to access it from the lock screen. In addition, the Apple Watch will also have integrated controls compatible with HomeKit home.

#Apple News

Apple News is reaching 60 million people every month with 2,000 publications and it's in for a redesign, too. The For You tab now breaks news into personalized topics and hand-picked stories by editors. News for iOS 10 will also introduce subscriptions so that you can see every issue of National Geographic or read the Wall Street Journal, periodicals usually behind a paywall. Breaking news notifications have been added to this pre-loaded app so that big stories appear right on the iOS 10 lockscreen.

#Rich lockscreen notifications

You'll see that notifications are broken up into bubbles now and use 3D Touch to show hidden menu actions - just hard press on a calendar invite alert and you'll be able to accept or decline it. 3D Touch-enabled iOS 10 notifications work even better for Messages. You can immediately respond to messages as soon as you pick up your phone, without ever leaving the lockscreen. It's all done inline. No more digging around the home screen and layers of app menus to check vital information. If you have a doorbell camera notification, you can see who's at the front door, use the intercom or unlock the door.

#Water detection

Your iPhone isn't waterproof, but Apple is allegedly making it easier to avoid potential water damage with the iOS 10 update. As of iOS beta 2, the software reportedly includes a warning message to unplug the lighting cable at the bottom of a device if the phone and new software detect water. Whether or not the iPhone 7 is waterproof, as some have speculated, this iOS 10 message is a handy tool because water and a turned-on iPhone don't mix very well.

#Apple Maps improvement

Now iOS 10 will allow Maps to integrate functions of different apps, for example, you can make reservations at OpenTable or request an Uber without leaving Maps. Also, Maps can proactively suggest places where you probably will head and also allow you to search for places of interest that are in your path, similar to what is currently offering Google Maps. In addition, carplay, Maps now can extend Apple Maps navigation directly to the car dashboard.

#iMessages

Messages is introducing rich links within a conversation and a live camera view as soon as you press the camera button. Like emoji's? You're going to love iOS 10. the emoji are now three times larger and allow you to change words by emoji to select the icon Emoji and have something written in the message field. Like Google Allo, iOS 10 also allows users to express themselves with larger or smaller in iMessage messages, but also includes effects of each message bubble, background animations and “invisible” messages which user have to slide finger to see them.

Expressions don't stop there. There'll be bubble effects so you can "say it loud" with a bursting bunch of text, or say something "gently" with slow-to-exist texts. You can react to individual messages with expression-driven Tapbacks (reminds me of Facebook reactions) and write out meaningful messages with handwritten "digital ink." Apple has shown off integration for licensed Disney stickers, food ordering services and bitmoji-like expressions provided by JibJab.

#Apple Music

The Apple music app will be updated with a new design, promising to provide a simpler interface that will enhance the user experience of each user. In addition, Apple promises that it will be easier to find the music that you like and organize. It looks to be a much cleaner design, highlighting cover art properly and suggesting music that you'll like in a more logical fashion. But it's not going to excite you for iOS 10 if you're not a paid subscriber. The Apple Music refresh does add some more depth by way of lyrics (though it doesn't seem to follow along with the words like other apps do, like SoundHound do).

#Phone

Apple updated the iOS 10 phone app which will simply carry a photo of wallpaper when you receive a call. In addition, this update also allows VoIP calls. Yes, this means that services like Skype and Viber now have a notice with a full-screen photo. In addition, you can also select contacts app if you want to use a specific number, the voicemails will now have a full transcript of the messages and inform you whether it is an unknown number or may be spam.

#Live broadcasting apps

iPhone and iPad gaming is about to get a little more social thanks to the new ability to live broadcast apps (or record them for later video viewing) in Replay Kit-supported apps. This is a big deal for not just iOS games, but also coding tutorials and how to guides. In fact, the existence of iOS 10 live app broadcasting was discovered within Apple's code-teaching Swift Playgrounds app.

#iOS 10 compatibility

iOS 10 is the world’s most advanced mobile operating system. iOS brings your iPhone and iPad to life with a beautifully easy-to-use design, indispensable apps, and innovative security features. And Apple has confirmed that its upcoming operating system update will not be available for iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPod touch 5th gen.
